HI THERE.

I’m Nick, and I’m based in Chester where I live with my two daughters Rosie and Eryn. I shoot wedding photos and films around the UK and all over the world and I love my job! I’ve been taking photos for around 9 years now and started out in the live music scene. I’m a massive Heavy Metal fan & I still shoot festivals in my spare time. My favourite bands are Pearl Jam and Type-O Negative. I played football professionally when I was younger but then I discovered Chinese food. I have an enormous collection of Playstation 2 games that I plan on playing when I’m retired. I got into photography after receiving a book of on-set photos from the original Star Wars, and I got into shooting film because of the works of Akira Kurosawa and Martin Scorsese. Rum, Irish whiskey and white wine(never together) are my drinks of choice, and my favourite films are Taxi Driver and The Lord of the Rings.

My approach to shooting your day is as natural as possible, with very little or no posing whatsoever. I will whisk you away to spend some time together after the ceremony and capture everything as it happens. The rest of the day I will ninja around the wedding shooting candids of all of the goings on, right up to some epic shots on the dance floor. I think that it’s very important that you get to know your photographer and that you love their work as much as their company, so if you’re getting married then let’s go for a coffee or a beer and talk about your plans.
